The copper at the transmitter site

Tower-site alarm lines, remote-control lines and old point-to-point circuits usually still run on copper. The carriers are retiring it, aren't in a hurry to repair it, and reprice it upward on the way out. A remote-control line nobody has to fix is off-air risk, not a line item.

Fixed wireless and satellite backup at the site are inexpensive now, and most groups we look at don't have either. IP-based STL and remote-pickup options have matured to the point where the legacy circuit is often the most expensive and least reliable thing on the bill.

What we do

Audit. Every circuit on the bill: in contract or not, what it's delivering, what's on retiring copper, and what the same service costs today.

Source. Dedicated internet and fiber for studios, transmitter-site connectivity and backup (fixed wireless, satellite, cellular), point-to-point replacements, and voice that survives a copper retirement — from 300+ suppliers, one point of contact.

Manage the cutover. We coordinate with your engineer and the supplier so nothing goes dark during the switch. The supplier pays us; you never get an invoice from us.

How it works

  1. Send a bill. Forward one recent telecom bill from any station to [email protected] — a phone photo of the first page is fine.
  2. We review it. Within a few days you get plain-language findings: what's out of contract, what's on retiring copper, what the same circuits run today.
  3. You decide. If nothing's worth changing, we say so. If something is, we handle sourcing, negotiation and the install with your engineer.
